Standard Features:
Model M-33W features design simplicity and complies with ADA requirements for wheelchair users. The fountain bowl is mounted on an arm for the disabled and is operated by a push-button on the arm. Standard model is seasonal, not freeze-resistant. Heavy-duty construction ensures durability. Field-serviceable components are easily accessible. Solid brass castings for bowl and mouth guard are Penny Vein powder-coated and arm is finished in Chestnut Brown.
Suggested Specifications:
Drinking Fountain shall be model M- 33W. Unit shall be furnished with a fountain bowl mounted on an arm to accommodate access by those with disabilities.
Arm shall be cast iron. Backing plate shall be aluminum- magnesium castings. Arm shall extend a minimum of 21- 5/8” inches from wall and have a clearance of 27 inches from grade level to underside of arm. Arm shall be finished with a heavy grade of oil-based brown enamel.
Bowl shall be a rectangular, powder-coated, solid brass casting. Drain opening in bowl shall be adequately protected from stoppage or vandalism by a chrome-plated solid brass casting. Pet Fountain options provide a cast aluminum bowl with matte finish.
Valves shall be self-closing pushbutton operated, incorporating a replaceable cartridge and requiring less than 5 pounds of force to operate. Valves shall include an adjustable stream regulator controlling the water.
Bubbler shall be a chrome plated solid brass casting with angle stream outlet near outer edge of bowl and above bowl rim. Mouth guard shall be a powder-coated solid brass casting to meet sanitary requirements.
All solid brass castings shall conform to ASTM standards B61 and B62. Unit shall conform to ANSI A117.1, 2010 ADA Standards for Accessible Design, ANSI/NSF 61-9 and Public Law 111-380.
