DELIVERY: Standard Delivery: Offloaded to 1 location no more than 15 feet from the truck and no more than 6000 lbs total load.
Placement fee of $35.00 per peice/unit (optional).
For Transit Truck to deliver a shipment using a crane equipped tractor, the jobsite or unloading area must be accessible to a flatbed semi-tractor and trailer approximately 67’ long. Per OSHA regulations, our trucks are not allowed to carry or move product suspended from the crane with the truck in motion, or without the outriggers being extended out and down. Our cranes must keep minimum distances from power lines, and if overhead power lines are present, we may not be able to unload using our crane.
Our driver will have the final determination if unloading or placement can be made at the site. If we are unable to unload using our equipment because of lack of access, or because of overhead power lines, it shall be the receiving customer’s responsibility to provide a location where we can either unload the shipment to the ground in one location (without placement), or the customer may provide equipment to complete unloading our truck within the 2 hours normally allowed as free time, before any detention charges would begin to accrue.
