We’ve designed our Foot rail kits to ship via UPS Ground - saving our customers substantially on delivery charges. For example, our kits have tubes broken down into lengths that will ship via UPS, (8 ft or less). If multiple tubes are shipped, our kit will also include brass internal splice(s) to connect the tubes for your desired length.
When installing our foot rail kits, brackets should be placed no more than 5 ft. apart. If you're connecting tubing together with brass internal splices provided in our kit, place the bracket over the seam where the 2 tubes meet. This conceals the seam and creates an illusion of one overall continuous piece of tubing.
The A120 tubing provided with our foot rail kits is not plated, but rather solid brass or stainless steel.
Wall thickness of all tubing is 0.050".
