boon-edam logo Clear polycarbonate arms and curved acrylic shield assembly provide aesthetic appeal while maintaining the functions of a dual rotor turnstile. Heavy-duty construction ensures durability and trouble-free operation. 1 1/4" x 3" arms provide clear, see-through effect while maintaining structural integrity and impenetrability. Available in 84" or 96" width. Standard construction is clear anodized aluminum. Other finishes include; color anodized aluminum, stainless steel, powder coated steel, bronze or brass. All turnstiles include a stainless steel middle barrier to prevent unauthorized entry through midsection of turnstile. Double gate can have up to 4 control points, two entry's and two exits.

Solenoid Activation Switch   Provides a Form "C" contact closure to access control system that turnstile solenoid has been activated. (Optional)

Time-out Relay   Relay to automatically relock turnstile within a preset time if a person cards in and unlocks turnstile but does not go through. (Optional)
Electrical Controls   Electrical controls for entry only, exit only ro independent bi-directional electrical controls for entry and exit. (Standard Feature for electrically operated turnstiles)
3 or 4 Rotor Sections   Available with 3 rotor sections (120 degrees apart) or 4 rotor sections (90 degrees apart).
Hydraulic Speed Control   Heavy duty shock system that controls rotation speed of turnstile to minimize abuse and provide increased ease of use. (Standard Feature for polycarbonate turnstiles)
Mechanical Key Bypass   Key to allow fail-lock direction to be opened during power failure. Standard feature for fail-lock applications.
Electronic Key Bypass   Key to allow turnstile to be held open, overriding card reader. (Optional)
Fail-lock or Fail-safe   For electrically controlled direction. Status of turnstile when there is no power. Fail-lock direction is locked, fail-safe is free wheeling. (Standard Feature for electrical directions)
Free or Locked Operation   For mechanical operation, direction is always locked or always free rotating. (Standard Feature for mechanical directions)
Indicator Lights   Set of red and green lights to indicate of turnstile is locked or unlocked. One set per electrically direction. (Optional)
Rotation Detection Switch   Provides a Form "C" contact closure to the access control system for remote counting and monitoring of turntile rotations. (Optional)
Home Position Switch   Provides a Form "C" contact closure to access control system when the turnstile is in home position. (Optional)
96" or 84" Width   Standard turnstile is 96" (8 feet) wide. Space saving version with 84" (7 feet) width is also available.
Pulse Relay   Allows one rotation per valid "go" signal regardless of the signal length. (Optional) Recommended Option.
Card Reader Mounting Plate   Plate to allow mounting of reader on shield post. (Optional)
