| What diameter tube should I order?
Generally, 2" O.D. tubing is by far the most popular size.
1.5" O.D. tubing is somewhat more comfortable to grip, and often is used for
handrails. Also, 1.5" O.D. tubing can be used where a more delicate appearance is desired.
For example, to hold partition curtains between booths.
Current lead time on clear coat brass tubing is 12 - 14 business days before shipping.

Special sloted tubing available: One, two, or three slots to hold glass/plastic
panels.
What lengths of tube are available?
2" O.D. brass comes in lengths up to 16 feet. All other tubing comes in 12 foot maximum lengths.
What is the wall thickness of the tubing?
All 1" - 2" O.D. brass & stainless steel tubing has a sturdy 0.050" wall thickness. 2" O.D. tubing is available in 0.065" wall thickness.
What finish options are available?

- Chrome: Mirror polished chrome on steel adds sparkling brilliance to any indoor application. it is virtually maintenace free and most economical. Satin chrome on steel is a brushed chrome finish.
- Stainless Steel: Durable stainless steel is available in a polished or satin finish for a wide range of applications.
- Wood: Oak toned hardwood doweling, smooth-sanded and suitable for staining in a variety of wood finishes. Combines beautifully with brass or chrome fittings.

How is the tubing shipped?
Tubing over 8 ft. ships via truck and usually incurs extremely graduated shipping costs. Assembling multiple tubes 8 ft. or less using #830 splices minimizes shipping costs and allows shipping via UPS. |
