Flange Reinforced Firering

Model L-32 features adjustment slots die-cut from two 3/16" thick steel adjustment panels for smooth, easy grate adjustment to four positions between 8" and 14" above ground level. The adjustment panels also serve as heat shields for the heavy flat bar spring grips and for the operator's hands. The 300 sq. in. grate features a bent-up front edge to keep food from falling or rolling off into the fire.

A 1" formed flange on the 32" diameter firering provides greater safety and reinforces the entire ring, eliminating the need for an angle cross brace. Deleting the angle provides more convenient access to the area under the grate for easier fire building. The 6-1/4" tall ring is fabricated from 3/16" thick steel.

The entire unit tips upright on two tip-back anchors of 1/2" diameter steel bar embedded in concrete footings for easy clean-out.
