Applications

To join two pieces of tubing you must use internal connectors called splices. Splices are internal and cannot be seen.

Installation

A splice is inserted into a tube end by compressing the splice with a pair of channel lock pliers and sliding it half way into the tube. The other end of the splice is then compressed and inserted into another tube.

A splice is permanently held in place with either setscrews or adhesive. Whenever possible the joint should be concealed inside a fitting.
